Private Alfred Oakley Stockley Boyd served with 13th (South Lancs) Parachute Battalion and took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.
Private Boyd died on 24 March 1945, aged 22 years old. He is now buried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Kleve, Germany.
