Private Alfred D Trueman

Private Alfred Dennis Trueman, son of Alfred and Clara Jane Trueman, of Aston, Birmingham, served with 156th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died on 18-19 September 1944, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
