Private Alec William George Hilder served with 12th (Yorks) Parachute Battalion and took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.
Private Hilder died on 24 March 1945, aged 19 years old. He is now buried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Kleve, Germany.
