Lance-Corporal Stanley Frost served with the 2nd Airborne Battalion, Ox and Bucks Light Infantry and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy on 5-6 June 1944.
L/Cpl Frost died on 9 June, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Herouvillette New Communal Cemetery, Herouvillette, near Caen, Normandy.
