Lance Corporal Reginald Charles Clarke, son of Charles and Elizebeth Clarke, of Copford, Essex, served with 2nd (Airborne) Battalion, Ox and Bucks Light Infantry. He took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity, and is likely to have participated in the Advance to the Baltic which followed.
Lance Corporal Clarke died on 16 April 1945, aged 30 years old. He is now buried at Hanover War Cemetery, Germany.
