Private Abraham Fenton, son of A and Mary Jane Fenton, of Glasgow, served with 2nd Medium Machine Gun Platoon, Support Company, of 7th (Airborne) Battalion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
Private Fenton died on 21 September 1944, aged 26 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
