Lance Corporal William Thomas Noel Takle was the son of Thomas and Nora Takle, and husband of Hannah Mary Takle. He served with 9 Field Company (Airborne), Royal Engineers.
Lance Corporal Takle died on 18 September 1944, aged 27 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
