Private Thomas Donald Jones was the son of Henry and Wilhelmina Jones, and husband of Joyce A Jones, of Bidston, Cheshire. He served with 1st (Airborne) Battalion, Border Regiment and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
He died between 22-25 September 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
