Sapper Frank Victor Quait was the son of Albert Edward and Louisa Quait, and husband of Gertrude May Quait, of Hull. He served with 3rd Parachute Squadron, Royal Engineers and took part in the Normandy campaign.
He died on 18 May 1945, aged 21 years old of wounds sustained in Normandy. He is now buried at Hull Western Cemetery.
