Lance Corporal Clarence Walter Borny, son of T J and Gladys May Borny, of St Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands, served with 2nd Parachute Squadron, Royal Engineers. He took part in the Italian campaign.
He died on 28 February 1944, aged 26 years old. He is now buried at the Sango River War Cemetery, Italy.
