Private Andrew Logan Mason, son of David Smith and Jessie Logan Mason, of Edinburgh, served with 7th (Airborne) Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
He died on 21 September 1944, aged 19 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
