Sergeant Morley William Mitchell, son of Phillip Charles and Violet Ellan Mitchell, of Falmouth, Cornwall, served with 7th (Light Infantry) Parachute Battalion. He was awarded the Military Medal during his military career.
He took part in the deployment of 5th Parachute Brigade to the Far East and died on 13 July 1946, aged 23 years old. He is now buried in Taiping War Cemetery, Malaysia.
