Bombardier John Brown McCulloch, son of Dugald and Barbara McCulloch, of Oban, Argyllshire, served with 2nd Airlanding Anti-Tank Battery, Royal Artillery. He took part in the glider insertion to the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
He died on 24 September 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem
