Lance Corporal Stanley L Ware

Stanley L Ware was the son of James and Sarah; husband of Emma Ellen Elizabeth Ware of Lower Walton, Felixstowe, Suffolk. 

As a L/Cpl he was successfully parachute jump trained at RAF Ringway on course 87. This course ran between 13 and 25 October 1943. His instructor noted this about Stanley's performance:

"Weak at first, considerably improved"

Stanley then went on to become a member of 13th Para Bn, B Coy, 4 Pln. He suffered fatal shrapnel wounds to the throat and died on 25 June 1944.
