Major Philip Raymond Teichman was the son of Maj Oskar Teichman, DSO, MBE, MC, and Edith Henrietta Teichman, of Warminster, Wiltshire. He had gained an MA and was trained as Barrister with Inner Temple.
He served with 2nd Parachute Battalion and took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch. He died during the conflict between 1-5 December 1942, aged 30 years old. He is now buried at Massicault War Cemetery, Tunisia.
