Corporal George Henry Leamer served with 7th (Light Infantry) Parachute Battalion, and took part in the D-Day landings in Normandy, during Op Overlord.
Corporal Leamer died on 6 June 1944, aged 26 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
