Private John Holland

Private John Holland, son of Tom and Lydia Holland, of Newbold Moor, Cheshire, Derbyshire, served with 10th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Private Holland died on 19 September 1944, aged 19 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, near Nijmegen.
