Private Noel George Hardy was the son of Thomas and Kate Hardy, and husband of Beatrice Irene Hardy, of Marlborough, Wiltshire. He served with 11th Parachute Battalion and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
Private Hardy died on 21 September 1944, aged 30 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
