Private Stanley F Harding

Private Stanley Frederick Harding, son of Stanley Frederick and Annie Louise Harding, of Camberwell, London, served with 9th (Essex) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy, during Op Overlord.

Private Harding died on 6 June 1944, aged 20 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Bayeux War Cemetery, Normandy.
