Private Charles Anthony Paul Cooper served with the 8th Para Bn and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy on 5-6 June 1944.
Pte Cooper died on 6 June 1944, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Herouvillette New Communal Cemetery, Herouvillette, near Caen, Normandy.
