Private Charles Dennison Brockelsby, son of Mrs W M Coombe, served with the Mortar Platoon, Support Company, 10th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
He died on 20 September 1944, aged 27 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
