Lieutenant William Blewitt was the son of Lt Col Guy Blewitt DSO MC, and Audrey Blewitt, of Boxted, Essex. He served with 3rd Parachute Battalion and took part in the North African campaign.
Lieutenant Blewitt died on 6 January 1943, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Tabarka Ras Rajel War Cemetery, Tunisia.
