Hi Jon,
I'm so sorry to hear about what happened, which seems only very recently, because for some reason, I had remembered you as going to 1 PARA.
I have very fond memories of you Jon and have often though about our time together in training. There were very few of us that made it through Depot Para in the same platoon, but you and I managed to shared the same room for the entire time. I remember your smile and some of the misfortunes that befell us during that five months. Tough times, but some great lads and you will always have a special place in my heart.
I'll drop by next time I'm in Aldershot; a bunch of flowers and say my goodbye in person. So rest easy my friend, my room mate; I'll never forget you!
