Private Trevor O Johnson

Extract from the Pegasus Journal dated January 1953:

OBITUARY: PRIVATE TREVOR OWEN JOHNSON, THE CHESHIRE REGIMENT - 3rd BN. THE PARACHUTE REGIMENT

It is with great regret that we have to announce the death of Pte. Trevor Owen Johnson from typhoid fever.

Pte. Johnson joined the 3rd Battalion on llth February 1952, and served as an Orderly Room Clerk, a job that he did well, never sparing himself.

He entered fully into the life of the Battalion until his death in the British Military Hospital, Fayid, on 3rd November, 1952.

We offer our sincere sympathy to his parents in their tragic loss.

Pte Johnson died aged 19 years and is now buried in Moascar Military Cemetery, Egypt.
