Franciszek Leon Oleksow from Poland served in The 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade during The Second World War.
Lieutenant Oleksow Took part in Operation Market Garden.
In September 1948 Franciszek Oleksow, then a welder in Stamford, Lincolnshire became a UK Citizen.
