Norman Squire was born in Castle Cary, Somersetshire, and originally enlisted into the Dorset Regiment, in February 1940, before transferring to the Royal Regiment of Artillery.
He was serving with the 64th Airlanding Light Battery, RA. in Italy, in 1945.
Norman died from poliomyelitis on the 11 June 1945.
He is buried in BARI WAR CEMETERY, ITALY. XVI. B. 7.
The son of Walter Henry and Elizabeth Squire; husband of Mary Squire, of Street, Somerset, he was 27 years old when he died.
