Born in South Africa ? Pretoria.. falsified his age to join the Royal Horse Artillery at the age of 15yrs.
Served in India during the latter days of the lndian independence movement, then volunteered for the Parachute regiment on its inception.
Wounded in action in North Africa, hospital shipped home.
I'm his grandson hoping for some information on his service.
