Charles Arthur Wanger was born in Poplar, East London in 1926. At the time of enlistment on 2 November 1944, he was a timber porter.
He enlisted at Canterbury where he was based until 13 December 1944.
The following day he went into the Royal Artillery where he remained until he was discharged on 16 March 1948.
