Private Michael F Davis

Michael Francis Davis served with B Company, 3rd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment. He came from Filey, Yorkshire. 

Private Davis, aged 21, was killed in action by a sniper on 5th May 1964 in the Radfan.

Padre Preston arrived in a Belvedere helicopter to organise the removal of all wounded. He stayed himself to give a temporary burial to Private Davis. Pte Davis was later buried at  Al Malaa Cemetery, Saudi Arabia.
