Sergeant Peter Kincaid

Peter Kincaid was born and lived in London. He enlisted in The Royal Fusiliers and volunteered for airborne forces.

Sergeant Kincaid successfully completed his parachute training at RAF Kabrit, Egypt, and was posted to HQ Company, 10th Battalion, The Parachute Regiment, and took part in Operation Market Garden (Arnhem).

Sgt Kincaid was killed in action on 19 September 1944, aged 23, in the Johannahoeve area. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Groesbeek Memorial to the missing.
