Albert Law enlisted in The Royal Army Service Corps and volunteered for Airborne forces.
Driver Law successfully completed parachute training at RAF Ringway on course number 116 from 15 to 27 May 1944. His course report stated “Average parachutist, confident, easy going, keeps cheerful”. He was posted to Airfield Platoon, 250 (Airborne) Light Composite Company, Royal Army Service Corps, and took part in Operation Market Garden, (Arnhem).
Dvr Law was killed in action on 25 September 1944, aged 25, and is commemorated on the Groesbeek Memorial to the missing.
