Daniel Wright Graham was born and lived in Glasgow. He enlisted in the Highland Light Infantry and volunteered for Airborne forces.
Private Graham successfully completed his glider training and was posted to Support Company, 7th (Airborne) Battalion, King’s Own Scottish Borderers, and took part in Operation Market Garden (Arnhem).
Pte Graham was killed in action between 25 and 26 September 1944, aged 25. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Groesbeek Memorial to the missing.
