Bremner Scott started in 2 PARA in C Coy as a Rifleman then transferred to Support Coy to the Anti Tank Platoon. Some of the lads, in his platoon Sgt Dave Joyce in particular, used to call Bremner "Big & Daft"!
Bremner went on to served two operational tours in Iraq, Op Telic 4 and Op Telic 7.
He did countless Airborne exercises and was well known for his superb marksmanship on the ranges. Bremner finally signed off due to the birth of my son and the untimely death of fellow Paratroopers, Platoon Commander Richard Holmes and his friend Pte Lee Ellis, who were killed from the detonation of an improvised explosive device (IED) during Op Telic 7.
