Clifford Desmond Harvey Hasted was the son of Albert Edward and Alice Maud Mary Hasted and husband of Ellen Hasted, of Fordingbridge, Hampshire.
After volunteering for airborne forces, Corporal Hasted was posted to 2nd (Airborne) Battalion, Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry.
He was killed on 16 April 1945 and is now buried in Hanover War Cemetery, Germany.
