George William Voce was the son of Edward and Margaret Emma Voce, of Liverpool.
After volunteering for airborne forces, Lance Corporal Voce was posted to the 195 Airlanding Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps. where he served in Palestine.
L/Cpl Voce was killed alongside Pte Eyre on the 31 October 1946 when his ambulance was hit by an explosion and it caught fire. He is now buried in Ramleh War Cemetery, Israel.
