General Service Mk 7 Combat Helmet from the Airborne Assault Museum Collection, Duxford.

This helmet was worn on Operation Herrick XIII and has been sprayed to match the Multi Terrain Pattern (MTP) of the rest of the uniform.  Helmet covers were not available at the start of the operation resulting in ad hoc covers, including the sprayed variant shown here.
