The photograph shows a very interesting selection of uniform typical of the period 1945/46. The men all appear to be wearing new uniforms: three can be seen to wear collarless shirts; three are wearing U.S. made shirts (with collars and pockets); the rest are wearing the British army issue collar attached shirts which were introduced in late 1944. All are wearing battledress trousers – mainly of utility pattern so post 1943. They wear a selection of belts: 1937 pattern web belt, naval issue money belt, 1937 pattern strap, various leather belts.

I`m confused by the 1945/46 dating of the uniforms . VHJ Cox was in Lamsdorf POW Camp until 1945 . My understanding is this photo taken next to a Dakota was at Ringway prior 1942 .
Records show that Victor was reported as Wounded and Mising and Now Reported as Prisoner of War in German Hands on 30th November 1942 in North Africa . He was in the 2nd Parachute Battalion and part of the North African Expeditionary Force . He was initially in an Italian POW Camp no. 59 before transfer to Stalag 8b in Teschen , Poland . Also known as Lamsdorf .
