Front row ( seated ) 2nd in from right is my father William ( Bill )McCutcheon .
Also shown in Group Photograph possibly of 2 platoon R Coy , 1st Battalion parachute regiment c1942 , and mentioned as L/C in Mortar section of 1st Battalion paras on embarkation ( probably HMS Gould ) for North Africa 1942.
Any further information about him would be greatly appreciated by his family - children , grandchildren and great grandchildren .
Lest they forget .

Further research has shown that the ship L/C 3130118 William McCutcheon embarked to North Africa on was more likely to have been the Arundel Castle
