Steven Hughes (RMO) treats one of the first Argentine casualties before the battle of Goose Green/Darwin. Behind him is Camilla Creek House. The RMO is siting an intravenous drip with a cannula (needle) into the left arm of the patient. The drip bottle can be seen in the foreground in the hand of an assistant.
The casualty has been given morphine, as can be seen by the "M", and the time of administration, written on his forehead.
In the background his equipment is being checked.
Roberto Arias Malatesta said:
The wounded man was a Sargeant (Sargento) GALVAN of Regimiento de Infantería 12 Scout Platoon (Sección Exploración). He continued in service after the war.
