Description

Jeeps damaged by mortar and artillery fire are left abandoned behind the 1st Airborne Divisional Headquarters, at the Hartenstein, Oosterbeek. Sunday 24th September 1944. The last photo taken by any of the AFPU team, Sgt. Smith was wounded the next day. BU 1142. Photo taken by Sgt. Dennis Smith.
