Dick Trigger at the Para Depot 1975, Browning Barracks, Aldershot. 421 Platoon

The black and white photo of 421, is the original platoon formed up in September 1975. It was an unlucky platoon, one member committed suicide in October and soon after most of the platoon left, leaving only 4 people in the black and white photo. The platoon was then joined by the Junior Para Pegasus Gymnastic team. The platoon had more bad luck with a number of the Pegasus team who were still mainly boy soldiers, deciding not to sign up for man service or leave for other units.
