Pte Elliott, third from right, top row, served a full 24 years, mainly in 1 PARA, but with instructional posts as a SNCO at ITC Catterick and CTC Lympestone, then as the DSM at the Jr Div of IBS Brecon, via 3 PARA as the RQMS(T) before becoming 1 PARA RSM. He retired in 2013.
