2nd Battalion Indian Parachute Regiment
The 153rd Gurkha Parachute Battalion was redesignated as the 2nd Battalion Indian Parachute Regiment when the 77th Indian Parachute Brigade was formed in March 1945.
In some records it is also referred to as the 2nd (Gurkha) Parachute Battalion.
