Private Herbert Young, son of Henry and Harriet Young, of Fairfield, Liverpool, served with 2nd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.
Private Young died on 30 November 1942, aged 24 years old. He is now buried in a collective grave at Massicault War Cemetery, Tunisia.
