Captain Dudley Conde Osborne Bowerman, son of Duncan and Olivia Irene Bowman, of Hammersmith, London, served with 1 Forward (Airborne) Observation Unit, Royal Artillery. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
He died on 19 September 1944, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
