The driver is Pte. Vernon Smith (KIA: 22/09/44), sitting on the left is Pte. Don Carwood and in the centre is Cpl. Joe Davison. Offering them a drink is Tonia Verbeek and on the right her fiancé Marinus Pennings. In the background can be seen the white marker panels of the Pathfinders. Sunday, 17th September 1944.
