Blanco block used for colouring webbing from the Airborne Assault Museum Collection, Duxford.

The block of Blanco shown here resting on untrested webbing, is shade Khaki Green G3.

Normally stored in a tin like boot polish, it could be added to water to make a watery paste to be used on the webbing to both clean it and dye it a more approriate colour for use on operations.
